Rome in September Rome is able to offer you marvelous sites and a wonderful framework for an International conference. What better time of year is there to enjoy a good Italian coffee on the Oppian Hill, visit the Colosseum or take snaps of monuments, fountains and piazzas from on board an open top bus? The “bella stagione” invites you to discover the city with varying itineraries. In addition to traditional guided tours it is possible to take in the sites from the River Tiber with a cruise on the “Battello sul Tevere”, which goes all the way to Ostia seafront. All of Rome’s parks, starting with Villa Borghese, have lawns and ancient deciduous trees offering shade and relaxation. There is never a shortage of things to do in each of the four seasons but Summer and September in Rome hosts the richest of event’s calendars!!! |
