Track description

Homeland security comprehends all the security efforts aimed at protecting states against malicious or terroristic activities.

Due to the complexity of the scenario at hand, encompassing several actors, infrastructures and stakeholders, the need for a system approach is becoming paramount.

The Track offers the possibility of presenting results and critical issues concerning homeland security.

Topics of interest include:

 

*   Critical Infrastructure Interdependency modeling and simuation;

*   Anomaly detection and Fault tolerant critical infrastructure;

*   Control and optimization in homeland security  scenarios;

*   Risk prevention and disaster management tools;

*   Emergency management;

*   Intrusion detection;

*   Stealth attacks modelling, simulation and detection;

*   Patrolling and Border survilliance;

.   Rule play games for HS;

.   Simulation of human behavior in critical systuations;

*   Modelling and simulation of threats and enemy behaviour

 

Nevertheless different topics concerning homeland security are welcome.

Authors are kindly invited to include in their papers and presentations all the research works, case studies and applications.

In-depth analyses of the state of the art are also encouraged for submission.
