Simulation for Transportation

Workshop/Paper Track at the Summer Computer Simulation Conference 2011

(SCSC ‘11)

Track Description

Transportation is a fast evolving area and Simulation represent a strategic technology for investigating this sector; the track is encouraging authors to submit papers addressing innovative aspects in applying M&S to transportation.

Simulation in Transportation Topics include, but are not limited, to the following areas:

 

· M&S Human factors in Transportation

· Transport Simulator Technologies

· Use of Simulator for Training Activities in Transport

· Use of Simulator for Research Activities in Transport

· Transport Safety and Security

· Intelligent Transport Systems

· Intermodal Transport Systems

· Logistics and Freight Transport

· Urban Transport

· Transport Decision Support Systems

 

Transport Management Participants are invited to submit abstracts and full papers within February 15, 2011. Each paper must include the title, authors, affiliations, addresses, references and summary for proper positioning in the conference. Only original papers, written in English, which have not been published previously elsewhere will be accepted.

 

Authors must strictly follow SCSC guidelines for paper submission.
